Hardware

IBM ThinkPad X31 (model 2672-5KU), Pentium M 1.7GHz with 768MB RAM, and 60GB HD. Video card is ATI Radeon Mobility M6, with a 12" screen. Sound card is an Intel integrated.

It is hooked up to our TV, for use by the kids (when they're old enough).

The name

Evinrude is the name of the dragonfly in The Rescuers (who was named after a brand of outboard motors). I gave this name to my laptop because, well, it's small.
